During the year the Events Committee keeps the members of the congregation enjoying life and staying connected. The committee has two kinds of events – parties at church, and trips to local points of interest.

Meals following services have included Mothers' Day Brunch (prepared by the men),. Ice Cream Social, Thanksgiving lunch, and Christmas Eve Soup Supper.  Evening parties with entertainment such as Chinese New Year, Chili Cook-off, St. Patrick's, Day, Arabian Nights, Oktoberfest, and Trivia Night are planned several times a year. Every other year a gala Services Auction raises both funds and fun. 

Monthly excursions such as Eagle watch cruises, visits to museums, Heifer Ranch tours, and bowling always attracted the adventurous.
