Brief History Of UUVC
A Brief History of the Unitarian Universalist Village Church
The Congregation was founded in 1965 as the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hot Springs, with 14 members.
In 1996, the Congregation of 27 moved to the Village to rented facilities and changed its name to the Unitarian Universalist Village Church.
In 2010, with a membership of 72, UUVC bought the church building at 403 Barcelona Road.
In 2015, we celebrated our 50th Anniversary.
Reverend David Ruffin served as a part-time developmental minister from August 2016 until February 2017.
Reverend Mark Walz became our permanent minister In August 2017.
